Do I need to be referred
by my doctor?
You do not need a doctor's referral to undergo an assessment or receive treatment.
You will need a doctor's referral in order to make a claim or be reimbursed
by your insurance plan. Worker's Compensation and SGI insurance plans also require
a doctor's referral. Check your policy for details.
Are therapy services
covered by insurance?
Most insurance plans do cover therapy services (e.g. Blue Cross, Canada Life).
Saskatchewan Health does not provide therapy services through Kinetik.
Is there a benefit
to having multidisciplinary services under one roof?
In addition to ensuring the best possible health outcome, having comprehensive
services under one roof streamlines delivery and provides continuity of service.
This can help control disability management costs.
Does Kinetik follow
industry standards of care?
Yes, Kinetik is accredited by CARF, the international Rehabilitation Accreditation
Commission. CARF is committed to practical, customer-focused standards of rehabilitation
service. Our accreditation is your assurance of a high standard of care.
